Kenilworth LEAP 2025 Plan and Schedule
Spring 2021

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
  • Students should bring their Chromebook and Charger Daily
  • Cell phones, smart watches, headphones and any other electronic devices are not permitted on campus at any time, including during testing
  • Students caught with an electronic device during testing will have their test voided and they will be suspended from school for at least 1 day
  • Students should not bring their personal water bottles on testing days.  We will provide water bottles for all students
In-Person Students
Dates: May 12 - May 19 
Time: 7:33-12:00
Location: Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School
Transportation: Will be provided as usual, but students will be dropped off earlier than on a regular school day
Schedule: 
  • 7:15 - Students begin to arrive at school
  • 8:00-11:30 - Testing
  • 11:30-12:00 - Lunch
  • 12:00-Students travel home
 
Virtual Students
Dates: May 12 - May 19 
Time: 11:30-3:30
Location: Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School
Dress code: Virtual students are not required to wear the school uniform.  However, their attire must be school appropriate.  Full length pants without holes, t-shirt or long sleeved shirt.
Transportation: Will be provided.  Bus information will be posted on students’ success portals starting May 10th.  Parents may also drop off and pick up their child according to the schedule below.
Schedule:
  • 11:30- Students begin to arrive at school via bus or parent drop off.  Virtual students must be dropped off between 11:30 and 12:00
  • 12:30-3:30 - Testing
  • 3:30 - Students travel home
Students with Small Group Testing Accommodations (Both In-Person and Virtual)
Dates: May 12 - May 19 
Time: 7:33-12:00
Location: Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School
Dress code: Virtual students are not required to wear the school uniform.  However, their attire must be school appropriate.  Full length pants without holes, t-shirt or long sleeved shirt.
In-person students are required to wear their school uniform.
Schedule
  • 7:15 - Students begin to arrive at school
  • 8:00-11:30 - Testing
  • 11:30-12:00 - Lunch
  • 12:00-Students travel home (If a student receives the extended time accommodation and they need extended time they will be allowed to stay at the school until they have finished.  Once they have finished, their parent or guardian can pick them up or they can ride home on the buses at 3:30 with the virtual students.)

The health and safety of our students and staff are our top priority.  We will take the following measures to ensure the health and safety of all individuals on campus.
  • Parents and outside guests will not be allowed inside the building during the testing week
  • Staff and students will have their temperature taken upon arrival
  • Buses will be sanitized between transporting groups
  • Classrooms will be sanitized between testing groups
  • Students will be directed to practice social distancing
  • Classrooms will allow for social distancing
  • Students should arrive wearing a mask daily
  • Hand sanitizer will be available 
  • Minimal transfer of physical objects such as paper, pencils, etc.
